A new feature in Google Analytics, called “track online purchases”, lets you track online shopping habits and see which retailers have the highest conversion rates.
Google Analytics lets you see which items are converting, the percentage of purchases made online, and the conversion rate of the item to be converted.
Here’s a quick guide on how to use it.1.
Select your target category2.
Enter the number of items you want to track and click “Track”3.
Select the “Custom Fields” tab and then click “Add Custom Fields”4.
Add a custom field like “price”, “quantity”, “price range” or “date”.5.
Click “Create Custom Field” and enter the name of your custom field in the “Field Name” field6.
Add an email to the email field, it can be your name or your company emailAddress (Optional)7.
Add the value of the “Total Cost” field, which can be any amount of money, in the price range field.8.
Click Create Custom Field.
This will take you to a new page.
